Recent Changes

This week I had an interview with Portland State University. It was very hard to me, It was by Skype and the committee ask more than 13 questions about my personal goals, personal and professional life and I felt that I did the best I can do. I felt relax, confident, with expertise about speaking without a plan. I think that when I speaking I look secure about it, because I watched my videos and I realized that I am progressing in my speaking. My weaknesses it is still my listening. I need to improve that.Finally, I was enjoying the meeting with my speaking partner and I talked together in English and we share opinions and feelings.
Week 11
I am workinf in my listening and my reading. This two skills still are difficult to me. Even though I have done homeworks and studying, I think that I am stock in them. I also watch TV, and listing the radio, but I think that my strategic aren´t the best to improving them. I must to study hard and practice the TOEFL exercise every day.
Week 12
This is the last week the class and we must to reflex in this test all of our improvement and skills working in these three months. It will be hard, but in the some time, greatfull because all of us, I had working hard. In my particular case I did the best I could. But sometimes, the homesick and my feelings don´t let me advance and focus on my stuying. Even though stuying English it one of my dreams....I feel afraid, and usually tired about it..because I left my husband, my work position and my entire family to came here....Thanks Kim, Thanks to my friend to share precious minutes with me...and enjoy the life!!!!!!

I need to compare when I arrived here in Maryland and today, after more than 90 dyas living in the U.S.

Twoweather!!!!Two months ago
I cant believe that I have been here for 60 days!!!.. I miss my husband, my parents, brothers and friends..but this is the most exciting experience in my entire life.
LECTURES

I didn't feel very weel, but I did my homework every class. I'm continuing read in English, Watch TV in english, the news and watch movies and series in English with subtitles. I speak with american people without shyness and I started think more in English compare to the last month.
Week 6
couldn't do this.this.I participated of the graduate class in College of Education at University of Maryland. It was amaxing experience. The professor explain me the structure of the class, and the students gave a presentation abour different topics and I understood the main idea and I follow the disertation. I would like to repeat it.
Week 7
With Zulya we went to NY in our Spring Break. It was Amazing, because We have to speaking in English all day, we made the reservation for our Hotel, bought ticket for our bus in English, and in NY we ask about hoe use the metro and other kind of situations, all of them in English. It was wonderful experience. Also, we went to a see a play in Broadway in English and We Enjoyed.
I received my TOEFL scores and I can improve it. I feel frustrated but I know that I can do it. I have to be strong because the homesick start to affect my feeling. Every weekend I wen to visit my friend in Washington DC and we watch TV or movies in English to improve our listening and comprehension. It has been difficult to me, I felt that my listening and my speaking not progress as much as I wish. I felt lost, and I really don't know if I can learn English in an excellent way.

Week 8
This week I felt very tired with my progress in English. But I always tried did my homework. I enjoyed work in team with my classmates, but sometimes it is difficult to organize our times and our ideas. The cultural colaboration about native american was the most interesting experience so far and I ejoyed. Because, I loved the History and I didn't know anything about native american women. I learn new vocabulary and how can i improve my academic word in any oral presentation.
